🎅 A simple rule for family photos Only upload photos that you have the right and permission to use. If another person—or a child—is pictured, make sure you have the appropriate permission before submitting the photo.

Use of the Service

SitOnSantasLap.com lets you upload a photo and use AI technology to create a personalized Christmas picture with Santa. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.

Your Photos & Permission

You represent that you own the photo you upload or have the rights and permissions necessary to submit and process it. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate permission from other people shown in the photo. For photos containing children, you must be the child's parent or legal guardian or otherwise have appropriate authority or permission.

Photo Processing & Privacy

Uploaded photos are processed to create the requested image. Our application processes uploads in memory and does not intentionally save uploaded photos to a permanent SitOnSantasLap.com photo library or database. Photo processing requires transmission of the prepared photo and generation instructions to OpenAI, our AI image provider. See our Privacy Policy for more information.

Generated Images

AI-generated pictures may differ from the source photo and may contain unexpected details, artifacts, or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee that every generation will preserve every feature or meet every expectation. You should review a generated picture before sharing, printing, or otherwise using it.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to upload or create unlawful, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, privacy-invading, rights-infringing, or otherwise prohibited material. You may not attempt to bypass security, generation limits, rate limits, or safeguards, or interfere with operation of the service.

Third-Party Services

The service relies on third-party services and technology, including OpenAI for AI image generation, Google for analytics and advertising services, and our hosting infrastructure. These third-party services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and technical limitations. Availability & Generation Limits

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features of the service, including available styles and generation limits. We may temporarily stop accepting generation requests when usage limits are reached or when necessary to protect the service from excessive or automated use. The service may also occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, or third-party outages.

Cost to Use the Service

SitOnSantasLap.com currently provides its Santa picture generation service without charge to visitors. We reserve the right to change or introduce features in the future. Any charges would be clearly disclosed before a visitor makes a purchase.

Advertising

SitOnSantasLap.com may display advertising and promotional messages, including advertisements provided by third parties and promotional messages for other services. The presence of an advertisement does not change your rights or responsibilities under these terms. Information about advertising, cookies, and related technologies is provided in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer

The service and generated images are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, SitOnSantasLap.com does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, continuous availability of image generation, or a particular creative result from AI generation.
